This taster session is a unique opportunity for participants to learn both traditional Buddhist mindfulness

Take a moment and think back to when you last felt troubled or in despair. Chances are you were either dwelling on past experiences or fretting about what your future has in store for you or a loved one.
Our energy and vitality are leeched from the present as we find ourselves distracted and troubled by things that have either come to pass or have yet to come but over which we have little or no control. This can become a vicious cycle, cruelly reinforcing our feelings of despair and helplessness.

The 8-week MBSR course provides a participatory learning experience with the practice of a variety of Mindfulness Meditation Techniques

The 8 week MBCT course integrates Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The day retreat is for people who have completed the 8-week MBSR course, have attended a workshop or already have some mindfulness experience
